The Basics

The five-point star design of the junction flanges is narrower than a standard junction to create a smaller footprint into the air.

As a result, they feel smoother than other running wheels with a tailwind, although we noticed that they are brake rough in uphill gradients.

The very short rims and spokes mean no shock dissipation, and these wheels feel incredibly tough on rough road surfaces. It is now too early to decide whether the limited distance between the hub and extreme vertical rigidity puts undue pressure on the cartridge bearings.

In keeping with all this, we felt these wheels had a deep section rim to complement the aerodynamic freehub body. Instead, the midi-section, the 25 mm depth-rim, makes space for further creation visible. Skewers of titanium are used.

After a 20-year absence, the French name of the Roval resurfaced when Specialized had the opportunity to use it. The Fusee Stars are listed on the Tarmac Pro specialist.

Types of Roval Fuse

Specialized Roval Fusee SLX 23

Specialists produce bikes, but also some extremely well-engineered wheels. Only ask any of the world’s best runners! However, we, mere mortals, are glad to settle for their mainstream things-the equipment that can handle long drives on rugged roads without a chat.

The hand designed alloy wheels from Roval Fusee have a slightly wider internal diameter, which tends to have a “better pneumatic profile for precision handling” when driving. The back hub bearings on these wheels is a CNC machined alloy with cartouche rollers and a complete DT Swiss interior complement. This ensures that these wheels are lighter than a Swiss watch in the future

Specialized Roval Fusee Star

Take a new degree of aerodynamics! In any wind, also in crosswinds, Advanced Fusée Star Wheelset is highly aerodynamic. The trick here is the Star front hub, which offers 50 less frontal area to the aero Advantage than even tri-speakers than conventional hubs.

The nimbling wheels are further improved by the low-profile seamless aluminum aero rims while increasing the pedaling performance with amazing lateral rigidity. These wind cheaters have made DT AeroLite spokes with concealed nipples for even higher speeds.

The Specialized Roval Fusee SLX Rim Wheelset

The SLX 24 is an elegant all-round wheel package of first class. The 20 mm thick aluminum bands guarantee a desirable pneumatic form and lead to their high rigidity. In addition, they are robust and do not overly strain the scales.

The Roval Aero hubs are highly durable, with proven DT 350 spur gear systems and screened bearings. As a result, the well-designed construction results in a compact, steep and robust wheelset that is equally ideal for daily training like racing.

The Roval Fusee EL 28

The Roval Fusee EL 28 provides the same performance advantages as the Fusée SL, with a greater focus on rigidity and reliability. CNC-machined alloys rear hub: high-quality alloy cassette frame, sealed cartridge bearings DT New Aero butted spoked; 2.0 mm round/3.0 mm x 1.5 mm bladed 20/24 speaks: radial front pattern, Double Drive rear pattern, fitted with the Shimano 9/10 speed-compatible frame cassette Replacement cava

Roval Clx 50 Disc Front Road Wheel

The Roval CLX 50 is the perfect balance between light weight and efficient aerodynamics. The weight and the wind speed are better than other leading mid deep wheels on the market. Deeper aerosol-focused wheels are nowadays the norm in the peloton – though drivers are not prepared to lose a great deal of weight to this aero advantage.

The CLX 50 gives riders another advantage between fastest setup of CLX 64 and lightest setup of CLx 32. Type: carbon clincher tubeless-ready regular round material: Carbon classic braking surface: disk brake only runs onRim Depth: 50 mm on rim width: internal 20.7 mm 29.4 mm on external route straight pull Spoke …

Roval Clx 32 Rear Road Wheel

The Roval CLX 32 is one of the lightest carbon cylinders ever made, but this does not cost simple performance. Instead of meticulous engineering and laboratory research, a 550-gram wheel that is hard enough for cyclocross racing and light enough for a GC climber was achieved.

The low inertia and sufficient rigidity allow the wheel to rotate and to change its direction. Given the low rim profile of this wheel, we didn’t skimp on aerodynamic benefits. The CLX 32 was designed with a CFD tire shape of around 26 mm and finished in our own Win Tunnel to serve as aerodynamically …

Roval Control SL 29 MTB Wheelset

The 29 “variant of our Control SL is a crafty, rigid, 29er specific XC race wheelset with a special moulded carbon rim. > Rim Material: Carbs > Rim Width: 21 mm > Face Spoke patterns: radial/3 cross pattern: radial/3-cross (1:1) > Rear Spoke patterns: 3-cross (1:1) > Spoke Count: 32 forward and rear > Spoke Type: DT aerolite > Nipple Type: DT Pro Lock hexagonal > Face Spoke: Carbs / frame, 15 mm thru-axle

Roval Slx 24 – Road Wheelset 2017

The roller wheel set is engineered for lightweighting without compromising durability. The 20 mm thick, tubeless, ready-to – wear alloy rims give an ideal tire profile to improve morale and a good feeling on the road. Roval aero wheels with DT 350 star-ratchet internals complete the package to create a light rigid and durable wheelset.
