John Millheim in the U.S. has a “no brainer” question about which is the better group set between the Centaur from Campagnolo and the 7800 Dura-Ace from Shimano? They are quite different, but one of them has to the group of choice!

Hi John,
The Campagnolo Chorus is an excellent groupset and very reasonably well priced. However it is not in the same league as the Shimano Dura-Ace. The Dura-Ace groupset is the best that Shimano manufacture, whereas the Campagnolo Chorus is now the 3rd down the line from the “Mortal groupsets”… down from the top Super Record. Not to say about EPS.
The Shimano Dura-Ace is the group set of the components of choice for many of the top professional cycle teams; You can’t see The Campagnolo on either pro or even a top amateur acing cyclist’s bike
